With a view to solving problems of parking in Belgrade city center and increasing existing public car parks capacities, JKP ‘Parking Servis’ has taken steps to make a blueprint of putting up mechanical garages.
‘Mechanical garages might function in two ways: a system with a mechanism for lifting vehicles to the upper level and a ‘pallet system’ for arranging vehicles at the garage base. Both systems will significantly increase the number of parking places at the garages. In 2010 the garages in Milesevska and 27. mart street will be modernized in compliance with the latest achievements in this field. In order to obtain mechanical garages for the abovementioned objects we have already prepared tender and technical documentation’, says Boban Kovačević, ‘Parking Servis’ CEO.
Apart from the garages ‘Mileševska’ and ‘27. mart 41-43’ we have started to make blueprints for putting up mechanical garages in garges with reserved parking places 'Požarevačka’, ‘Radivoja Koraća’ i ‘Kralja Milutina’.
