Vehicle transportation and maintenance division

Division organisation

This division is in charge of towing away illegally parked cars, removing broken-down cars, vehicle transportation for the Police Department needs, bulky load manipulation and buses and trucks transportation. It consists of three departments:

Vehicle transportation department

This Department has been in existance since the very foundation of The Office for public garages and car parks Belgrade’ in 1972. The first head office of the Department was in Rajica Street and since 1979. it has been located at Staro sajmiste.

The location to which the tow trucks ‘spider’ take illegally parked cars are the following:

  • Vidin kapija
  • Ada Cingalija
  • Slavija

Vehicle maintenance department

It was founded in 1981. and is located at the Cargo terminal at Blok 53, New Belgrade. The Department is equipped with the workshop and skilled personnel for servicing the car pool of the company as well as vehicles of the third parties. At ‘Mostarska petlja’ bb. there is also a workshop for servicing Company’s cars.

Communal order department

It was founded in 1993. and is located at Blok 66, New Belgrade, close to GSP terminal. At the area of 3 hectares, abandoned cars and removed objects are stored.

  • Light - Toyota, Multicar Fumo Carrier FCK 34-5

  • Medium - Mercedes Vario, Zastava turbo Zeta, Iveco 109.14, Iveco 100 E 17, Mercedes Atego 1317, Iveco 120EL 17, Iveco 160E 210, DAF FA LF 55

  • Heavy trucks - Raba tow truck, Mercedes tow truck, Low-profile platform trailer, Koles crane – 30 tonnes, Koles crane – 54-60 tonnes

  • Special vehicle for transportation and towing away trucks and buses (in case of traffic rules violation, accidents etc.) - Iveco
