● Donations for elementary schools

For the ninth consecutive year, JKP "Parking Service" has donated educational materials to elementary schools as part of the "Pupils Parking Place" initiative. This year, the ceremony was hosted by the Municipality of Stari Grad, which is home to seven schools included in the action.

Andrija Čupković, Director of JKP "Parking Service," stated that schools located within the parking zone system and participating in the "Student Parking Spot" initiative received educational materials worth a total of 4 million dinars in the ninth cycle.

Year after year, "Parking Service" urges drivers to park their vehicles in specially marked "pupils" parking spots, as the proceeds from parking fees on these spaces go to the nearby elementary school. In this way, "Parking Service" purposefully redirects funds paid by drivers for parking to support educational institutions, Čupković explained.

On behalf of the company, Executive Director Nikola Krajnović welcomed the present school principals and expressed his satisfaction with being able to deliver the donation of educational materials. Clearly excited as the father of a preschooler, he wished that through this initiative, "Parking Service" would continue to improve the quality of education for many more years and support students. He also thanked the school principals for their efforts in enhancing the educational process.

The principals selected the items, and this year, 35 schools and their students received 9 interactive whiteboards, 16 projectors, 16 multifunctional printers, 7 computers with monitors, 7 sound systems, and 1 video projector.

Since 2015, the "Pupils Parking Place" initiative has contributed more than 26 million dinars in equipment donations to schools, including 120 interactive whiteboards, 182 projectors, 62 multifunctional printers, 39 computers with monitors, 10 video projectors, 32 sound systems, and one camera.

For nine years, "Parking Service" has been increasing the quality of education in elementary schools within the parking zone system by donating teaching and technical equipment. The schools are grateful to this socially responsible company for the gifts and the effort invested in realizing the initiative.
