Info boards for better awareness

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ in cooperation with Traffic Department have started to put up info boards in Belgrade parking zoned areas. Info boards, which should provide better drivers awareness of parking zone system in Belgrade, will be introduced on grounds of the research conducted during the last year by JKP ‘Parking Servis’ and our clients’ suggestion.

Postavljanjem ovih informacionih tabli, čije su dimenzije 1m x 2,25m, vozačima je jasno označeno u kojoj se zoni nalaze, a dopunskim informacijama, otklonjena je dilema na koji način su dužni da koriste uslugu parkiranja. Tekst na tablama je dvojezičan, kako bi posetioci iz inostranstva mogli da se upoznaju sa zonskim sistemom parkiranja.

By putting up the info boards, whose dimensions are 1mX2,25m, the drivers are clearly shown which zone they are in. There is also additional information, which gives clear instruction on how to use the parking services. The text on boards is bilingual so that foreign visitors could avail of information on zone parking.

Four boars have been put up today, two in Nemanjina Street, one on the corner of Kneza Milosa Street and Kralja Milana (near London café) and the fourth is near the Saint Sava Temple. New boards will be erected on various locations according to the circumstances.

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ managing director Bojan Bovan has said on this occasion:

We think that the parking zone project is a system which has to take into account various suggestions so as to be functional because we have to provide the drivers with the prompt information on parking rules so that they can comply with them. It was on drivers’ demand that we marked parking places with additional horizontal lines in the zone colors three years ago. During the last year on two occasions we carried out detailed surveys so as to find out if our clients are satisfied with the services quality of JKP ‘Parking Servis’. We have found out there is room for improvement of parking zone system awareness. By putting up info boards both Belgraders and our guests will be better informed about the parking zone system.’
