More bicycle racks for bike parking

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ continue the campaign of setting special bicycle racks for bike parking. We plan to set 100 more racks in the forthcoming period as to make the ride more pleasant and parking bikes safer for the bike riders who have become increasingly important participants in traffic.

- ‘In the previous two years 70 racks have been set on locations all over the city and our plan is to set 100 more in cooperation with the Zvezdara Municipality’, said Zivorad Andjelkovic JKP ‘Parking Servis’ CEO.

- ‘The aim is the same as before: promotion of healthy lifestyle and transport without pollution by using alternative ways of transport, bicycles in the first place’, points out Biljana Vlajic JKP ‘Parking Servis’ managing director of Division for development, building and maintenance of premises

- ‘Citizens who come here for recreation arrive on bikes. Now they have the place to park them and by introducing the video surveillance it is much safer to park the bike’, says Milan Popovic, Zvezdara Municipality’s president.

‘Jugocikling kampanja’ association secretary Milan Boric stresses the care of JKP ‘Parking Servis’ towards bike riders.

-‘I would take this opportunity to thank JKP ‘Parking Servis’ for their concern for the bicycle riders when they set these racks but also when they remove illegally parked cars from the bicycle paths. I hope that bike riders will have the chance of parking their bikes in boxes, which have been used for a long time in some countries.
