Special Car Park ‘Milan Gale Muskatirovic’ Opened

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ has opened today a Special car park ‘Milan Gale Muskatirovic’ within the sports center of the same name. JKP ‘Parking Servis’ CEO Boban Kovacevic has attended the official opening of the car park.

‘Belgrade has today got new 315 parking places and a problem of parking has been solved in a part of the city which is a favourite recreational area. Moreover, this car park is a significant contribution to the successful organization of the approaching important sport events when this sports center will be in the public focus’, states Boban Kovacevic.

The newly opened car park boasts 306 car parking places and 9 bus parking places and there is an entrance and an exit ramp for cars and buses. The testing of the car park started on Monday 13th April 2009 and a regular charging system started two days later. The equipment for managing and control of the car park ‘Milan Gale Muskatirovic’ belongs to the latest technology and offers additional comfort to our customers.

A newly formed parking space within ‘Milan Gale Muskatirovic’ sports center will have numerous positive effects on administering the communal order in this part of Belgrade on the Danube quay which is getting more and more attractive because of the upcoming ATP Serbia Open tournament and Universiada. The bicycle path and the pedestrian area will be again used for their original purpose and the homeowners of the surrounding residential areas will avail of the quality parking places.

The Board for the City land and building of Belgrade has invested in construction of the car park, the works have been carried out by JKP ‘Beograd put’ and JKP ‘Parking Servis’ has been entrusted with collecting the payment at the newly opened car park.

The price per commenced hour is 40,00 dinars for cars and 80,00 for buses. Monthly 24-hour subscription is 5 500,00 dinars while the subscription for nights (17.00-08.00 hours and during weekends and holidays) is 1 765,00 din.
