"Parking Servis" participates once again in the International Day of Families celebration
27.05.2025.
A large group of people gathered in the courtyard of the Belgrade Shelter for Children to spend the International Day of Families with children without parental care and to help make the day an unforgettable one. Employees of "Parking Servis," including the crew of a tow truck and two parking controllers in their recognizable uniforms, spent several hours engaging with the children and patiently answering their many questions. True to their curious nature, the children were interested in everything — from how the tow truck works and how it lifts and moves vehicles, to the purpose of every lever and button.
Danijela Stajković, Director of the Belgrade Shelter for Children, expressed her gratitude to all who responded to the invitation and attended the celebration. Much to the delight of both the staff and the children, this year’s turnout was so large that the courtyard could barely accommodate all the guests, sponsors, and participants. The children enjoyed meeting representatives of public utility companies, traffic police, and municipal police, exploring their official trucks, excavators, cars, and motorcycles.
The sports games proved to be the most exciting part of the event for the children. Five teams were formed for the competition, and representatives of the guests joined the Shelter’s children on the teams. “Parking Servis” was represented by Aleksandra and Ivan, who gave their best to help their teams win as many points as possible. After four rounds of competition, Ivan’s team claimed first place and won gold medals. Congratulations!
We are confident that this year’s gathering will remain a fond memory for everyone who participated in the event. We conclude this text with the heartfelt words from the certificate we received:
“I am a child, and it takes so little for me to dream a little dream — for us to overcome each new day, together!”
