● Redefinition of zones in the "Stari grad" from July 14th

At the initiative of the Stari Grad Municipality, the Secretariat for Transport has issued a Decision that, starting from July 14, 2025, parking zones in this municipality will be redefined. The allowed parking time in zones will be shortened, and parking will also be charged on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

The maximum allowed parking time in Zone A (Purple Zone), which has been expanded to include part of the former Red Zone in Stari Grad, will be 30 minutes without the option of extension. A section of the previous Yellow Zone will become Red Zone (Zone 1), with a parking time limit of 60 minutes, extendable by an additional 30 minutes. In Lower Dorćol, the former Green Zone will be replaced with a new Zone B (White Zone), where the maximum parking time will be 180 minutes — 120 minutes of standard parking plus 60 minutes of extended parking. For this newly introduced White Zone, SMS payments should be sent to the number 9116. Drivers coming to this part of Belgrade will pay for parking Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Parking prices will remain unchanged, so 30 minutes in the Purple Zone will cost 120 dinars. An hour of parking in the Red Zone will be 80 dinars, and in the White Zone 65 dinars, with the possibility of extending the parking time.

There will be no changes to the parking zone system in the municipalities of Savski Venac, Vračar, Palilula, Zvezdara, New Belgrade, and Zemun. The current time limits, prices, and control/payment hours for Yellow, Green, and Blue Zones in these areas will remain in effect.

The monthly resident parking permit will also remain unchanged and will continue to cost 500 dinars across the entire zoned parking system. Residents who already possess a valid discounted monthly parking pass (PPK) on the day the new system takes effect will be able to use it until it expires. The daily parking ticket price will also remain the same, with the option of a 50% discount if paid within 20 days.
