31.03.2008.

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ has today, within an educational and entertaining programme, delivered fluorescent vests and educational boxes ‘Ten life saving rules’ to the youngest schoolchildren of 4 central schools of Sopot municipality. This event has marked the end of the second stage of the JKP ‘Parking Servis’ campaign ‘Pupils beg you, slow down when driving by the school’, whose aim was to prepare the pupils of suburban areas to be successful participants in traffic.

Since 17th March, when the second stage of the campaign started, ‘Parking Servis’ has covered seven municipalities: Surčin, Mladenovac, Lazarevac, Grocka, Obrenovac and Barajevo. ‘Parking Servis’ representatives have distributed about 3500 fluorescent vests and the same number of educational boxes with DVDs, stickers and picture books to the first graders of 45 elementary schools.

ZDuring the first stage of the campaign in September, October and November last year, over 11 000 Belgrade schoolchildren learned the rules of conduct in traffic and now wear fluorescent vests on their way to and from school.

The campaign organizer’s hope is that the care for the youngest will grow into an every day habit and wearing of fluorescent vests becomes a custom adopted by the generations to come.
