Works finished at the airport

20.06.2008.

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ has introduced a new automated system of paying and parking control at the public car park at the ‘Nikola Tesla’ airport.

The works at the JKP ‘Parking Servis’ car park at the airport have been completed. The number of entrances and exits has been increased from the present six to eight. The exits and entrances have been automated and with a view to more efficient service two separate paying booths with five paying spots have been planned.

The present system of collecting payments has been changed. Upon taking the ticket at the car park entrance drivers will park their car. When they come back they will pay for the service BEFORE they get in the car. The price of parking remains the same – 37,50 dinars per commenced hour.

The traffic at the car park has been organized in such a way as to avoid forming of long queues especially at the entrances. The visitors also have at their disposal JKP ‘Parking Servis’ public garage which is only 70 meters from the airport. This garage is of a particular importance to the drivers who want to park their cars for longer periods. JKP ‘Parking Servis’ and JP Airport ‘Nikola Tesla’ have agreed to increase the present capacity of parking places at the airport. More information about this plan will be announced at the press conference on Tuesday the 24 of June.
