Garages and Car Parks

1. How is the payment carried out in garages or special car parks?

Parking payment can be made via cash, payment card or mobile app. Depending on the type of car park, parking payment is made prior collecting the vehicle, from the vehicle while exiting or entering a car park. The parking payment method is pointed out on every car park, as well as on the parking ticket. Also, the customer may park a vehicle in the garage or car park by using the previously purchased Parking Pass or Prepaid parking card.

2. What is the procedure in case a parking ticket is lost or illegible?

In case that the ticket is lost or illegible the user is requested to submit to the collector an ID card and traffic license for inspection and charging for the lost ticket is carried out in the following way:

  • for the cardboard parking ticket:
     
    a) Starting from 00 hours of the current day if the vehicle is not in the register until it leaves the garage or car park;
     
    b) Starting from 00 hours of the previous day, when the vehicle was first entered in the register until it leaves the garage or car park;
     
    c) Starting from 00 hours of the previous day until the vehicle leaves the garage or car park, for the vehicles which entered the garage the previous day and leaves the garage the next day for the time until it was entered in the vehicle register.
  • for a plastic parking ticket – from the time of entry until the exit increased by the value of the plastic card.

The charging of the illegible card is carried out by the printed time description (date and time of entrance) from the entry card.

3. What steps are taken if the vehicle parked in a garage is damaged or broken into?

In case that the vehicle parked in a garage is damaged or broken into, the event is reported by telephone to the police. This can be done by the Company’s employee (the collector on duty or the host of the garage) or the person whose vehicle has been damaged or broken into. The police can, upon receiving the report, come to the scene to record the damage or require the vehicle owner to come to the police station and report the damages.

4. If I am not satisfied with your service how and to whom can I make a complaint?

5. What are the terms and conditions of subscription for a parking place in garages?

Depending on the location and service, a monthly subscription varies.

The price list, which can be found on our Internet site, gives detailed information on kinds of subscription and prices for particular garages.

The forms for a parking place lease can be filled in on our website on the page Monthly Subscriptions, as well as in the Online requests segment (within Customer Service).

6. What is the procedure for obtaining a monthly subscription in a public garage, a garage with reserved parking places or on a car park and what are the terms and conditions of the lease?

An application for subscription in a public garage, a garage with reserved parking places or on a special car park is submitted by filling out the request on the Monthly Subscription page (within Garages and Parking lots), at the eParking electronic counter, in Customer Service branches, by phone or by e-mail. The user is able to applicate for more than one vehicle.

Most of the garages with reserved parking places offer night (17.00-08.00 hours) and 24-hour subscription to individuals and businesses, so our customers depending on their status and needs choose a certain type of subscription filling in their personal data, the make and registration number of the vehicle and a desired number of parking places.

In case that application subscriptions are autonomously solvable (there are available capacities), the customer on the spot, in any of the Customer services may conclude an Agreement with an appropriate documentation submitted for inspection and pay a monthly subscription, after which the customer receives a certificate for using the object above, and the same applies until getting a subscription card (subscription card is to be given within 48 hours).

When signing the contract the customer who is taking a subscription as an individual driver is requested to submit for inspection an ID card and traffic license (chipped and original to submit for inspection), while the customer who takes the subscription as a business is requested to submit a photocopy of traffic license and a business information (registration number, VAT, company head office and a bank account number). A subscriber receives a card for the particular vehicle so as to park it in a garage or car park of his choice. If a place in a car park or a garage of choice is not available the applicant is automatically registered and put on a waiting list made in the order of submitted applications. The list of requests is updated every three months and an applicant is notified in writing.

Please note that it is not possible to park more vehicles (different registration plate numbers) with only one subscription parking ticket.

7. Is the parking for disabled persons provided in garages and car parks?

In many garages and car parks roadway markings define parking places for vehicles of disabled persons. The first three hours parking is free of charge for these vehicles, except the car park ‘VMA’ where is free of charge for 8 hours and after this period parking is charged according to the price list.

8. Is there parking for trucks and buses?

Parking places for buses are provided on the car park ‘Milan Gale Muškatirović’.

‘Parking Servis’ does not provide parking places for trucks in the city centre.

9. What is the procedure to report the damage to the vehicle which is parked in a public garage, a garage with reserved parking places or on a car park due to circumstances that the Company can be held responsible for?

‘Parking Servis’ is not responsible for the vehicle safety in the garages and on the car parks but by providing a system of protection and video surveillance as well as 24-hour presence of security staff the control of goings on in the facilities has been established.

There are situations in which the Company can be liable for damage caused to a vehicle parked in a garage, due to the employee’s fault, and in the case of certain circumstances (such as garage roof leak, or if the ramp drops on the vehicle).

In this case the customer should contact the attendant on duty or the host of the garage who will inform the supervisor of the sector. After registering the damage, the compensation request is formed and put forward to the Insurance Company with which PUC ‘Parking Servis’ has an insurance contract in case of damage at the object of VEPP and PP.

10. What steps are taken if in a garage or car park a vehicle is parked in such a way that it takes up two parking places?

A user of a garage or a car park is obliged to respect the traffic signs and roadway markings when parking. A vehicle, which takes up two parking places, a double price will be charged.

11. Is there a subscription for garages and car parks for the period between 06.30 and 17.30 hours?

In the garages ‘Masarikova’, ‘Zeleni venac’ and ‘Pionirski park’ we offer so-called “Business tariff”, a form of subscription for people working in the city centre. This monthly subscription allows subscribers to park their vehicles on weekdays and Saturdays from 06.30 to 17.30. Interested customers may apply in the Customer Service branch offices or by telephone. When signing a subscription contract, it is necessary to provide a certificate of employment, photocopy of the traffic license and identity card for inspection.

 

12. Does ‘Parking Servis’ guarantee the safety of vehicles in its facilities?

PUC ‘Parking Servis’ is not responsible for the vehicle safety in the garages and on the car parks but by providing a system of protection and video surveillance as well as 24-hour presence of security staff the control of goings on in the facilities has been established.

13. What is the notice period for subscribers – service users?

Contracts with clients are typically made for an indefinite time so that they become cease to be valid in the following cases:

  • By consent of both parties expressed in writing;
  • Unilateral written cancellation of any party who signed the contract with an 8-day notice period without an obligation for stating the reason of cancellation;
  • Unilateral cancellation of the service by the provider without a notice period in the event that the user does not comply with the terms of the contract.

14. Can a customer, who owns more vehicles, park any of them in a garage he is subscribed to?

One subscription parking ticket does not allow for parking more vehicles with different registration plate numbers. In each contract that a customer signs with ‘Parking Servis’ it is clearly stated the make and the registration number of the vehicle the subscription is paid for.
